ABOUT ME
ALEX
HUNTLY
I studied Physiotherapy at the University of Southampton and went on to complete a masters in Sports and Exercise Medicine at the University of Nottingham. I have worked in a specialist back pain & sports injury clinic, the NHS musculoskeletal service and occupational health. I was the designated physiotherapist for the England Men’s Futsal Team and have worked with other elite and high-performance sports teams.
I have always been involved in sport from a young age: playing football for a local Oxford football team from aged 7-18, being a ball boy for Oxford United, competing internationally with the England ITF Tae Kwon-Do team, competing in several half marathons.
As a keen sportsman I understand what it means to stay fit and healthy and receive effective injury treatment and prevention to achieve whatever physical goals you have.
I have a special interest in lower limb injuries, back pain and rehabilitation, strength and conditioning for running and football.
All my experience has provided me with a knowledge and expertise to deliver a high level of physiotherapy with an individualised approach to help you reach your goals and improved health.
